At a meeting of the Finance Council and the Planned Giving Committee, a presentation was given by Robert Barry, Director of Endowment and Planned Giving, Catholic Community Foundation, to establish a separate long-term investment fund within the financial corporate structure of the Church of St. Peter to be known as the John Ireland Education Fund.

Corporate action establishes that this John Ireland Education Fund is created exclusively for the purposes of soliciting, collecting, investing and disbursing funds for the benefit primarily of "needs based" tuition assistance for students.

Should those tuition needs be fulfilled, then for the on-going operational needs of John Ireland School owned and operated by this parish corporation. The officers of this parish corporation are authorized and directed to solicit, invest and hold said funds in the long term John Ireland Education Fund.
